We do an annual caribou hunt every fall up in Alaska and the one thing we have always wished we had was a super light weight but sturdy raft to navigate the back and forth travel of the river we hunt on. After testing the raft in a local stream by my house I am confident we have found what we have been wishing for.

Not a review guy at all, but wanted to provide caution! I bought this at a archery event last year for my kiddos to use on multiday raft trips mainly in our home state of Montana. We have used this less than 6 times. This week went to inflate and noticed multiple pin holes in the bottom of the boat. Huge bummer b/c I had high hopes for a pack raft that would roll up and not take up a ton of room in a dry box.
The boat was never used in any aggressive waters but surely has hit rocks in lower water (N/ Fork Flathead, Smith, Madison). I think that if the boat was used only in water that was 5' or greater, you will be fine.
We did contact customer service to discuss any options and have not heard back. We ended up selling it to someone willing to take the chance and repair the 3 pin holes that were found.
Further, when the boat did work, we found that the sidewalls would often "fold" and allow water to come in, requiring more air via the blow tube. I would say this happened more often than not.
I'm sure it's fine in deep non moving water (high lakes, ponds, etc...) but would caution anyone with plans on using in a river or moving water situation. This boat is very mission specific.

Thank you! - RHRobert H.Verified BuyerReviewingRapid RaftRated 3 out of 5 stars1 week agoNot as easy as it looks
Ok, nice idea, piece of mind knowing I have it but hope I never have to use it because it’s not as easy as they show in the video clip - definitely took me several tries to get it so so filled and then plan on using a lot of blowing power from yourself into that little tube to get it filled, interesting concept but not for the novice or elderly in my opinion!

PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I had purchased a rapid raft that failed at all of the taped seams so I called the company and they would send me a new one, I received the second raft and it already had dirt in it and a small hole, I said "I'll just patch the hole and it will be fine" the taped seams failed the first time out making it my second failed rapid raft. I contacted them once again and they send me the new version that they said "corrected the problems". This is new version worked for about 3 outings and then started leaking at the seams again. I have never left a review for any product in my life but this is probably the WORST product that I have purchased in my life
