It has been 4 years using this radio now. I have used it for 8 back packing trips and it hasn’t let me down! Definitely a must have…and it has saved my ass in many storms using the weather band!

This is the second one of these I have bought. This is a solid emergency radio. I like that it has multiple ways to charge - can be helpful in emergencies (which is why I have them) - and it does not feel cheap, like the free ones they give out with car kits and stuff. The headphone jack is also a nice touch!

Does what its supposed to do.

This is a nice little radio with some useful features for multiple was of recharging the battery.The main downfall is that it is not water resistant or waterproof and the shell is constructed of a thin plastic,which feels like it would break,if it fell or was impacted.If it had some weather resistance and the shell was coated in a rubber substance for greater durability and water resistance.This is not trail worthy but is a nice addition to your camping site gear.

It's a decent radio,as advertised. However,it is not weather resistant nor is its outer casing durable,as it is made with a thin,hollow sounding plastic.Great concept but a poor choice for field use or durability.Nice gift for a young scout.
