This mask is great but uncomfortable to wear i have found that masks that hang from the ears are more comfortable to wear.
The mask was a little tight at first, but I added the extension that came with it and it fits perfectly! I also had a moment of panic when I tried to look at tracking information provided in the email. USPS told me my shipping request had been cancelled. Fortunately, customer service responded right away and informed me my mask was still on the way but with a different shipping label. The whole ordeal from realizing my shipping request had been cancelled to being provided the new shipping information was about 15 minutes. So thank you guys for that!
I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the M2 Air Mask. It fits great. No fussing with it on. The metal nose bridge is key to eliminate fogging of glasses when fitted. Also it was nice to see the velcro extender included. I don't need it, but it's nice to have regardless.
I can not connect the two velcro straps behind the head unless stretching as far as I can... then it falls to neck and dislodges the seal on the face. I will have to make a bridge to have it fit correctly. Please read the details about the vent for your exhaling, if you are sick, this will not help those around you since exhaling is unfiltered. Large folks with big hands my have issue with gloves too. Still happy with uncharted and no regrets.
As a former military aviator and current civilian pilot, I'm a huge fan of all of the Uncharted Supply Company products. This week I cracked open the M5 Filtration Mask in my Seventy2 to use when I'm out in the 'Red Zone'. The filtration qualities of the mask are really good. The issue is with the fit. The strap around the neck pulls the mask down while it's already a struggle to keep it over my nose. The mask in the Seventy2 is size Regular so maybe I need a large. I wear sunglasses when I'm out and each time I exhale, I fog my sunglasses. So clearly there are issue with it fitting snugly enough to vent my breath out of the one-way valves. I'll continue to try and adjust it since it's the best mask I have to use.
