Since 2017, Uncharted has equipped more than 97,000 households across all 50 states, the United States, and Canada. We have shipped over 535,000 pieces of emergency gear, including nearly 50,000 complete survival systems that cover an estimated 100,000 people.
We do not sell gear to sit on a shelf. We sell the confidence that when the power goes out, the battery dies, or the storm hits, you are the one who is ready.
01 Readiness, at scale
- 97,000+ households now hold Uncharted gear, in every state plus Canada.
- Nearly 50,000 complete survival systems shipped, from the pocketable SEVENTY2 to the family scale Basecamp (four to eight people each), covering an estimated 100,000 people for 72 hours or longer.
- More than 200,000 first aid and trauma kits placed through our direct, retail, and partner channels.
FEMA and the American Red Cross both find that households with a stocked emergency kit and a plan recover faster and more safely after a disaster. Every system above moved a family from unprepared to ready.
In 2017 Hurricane Maria destroyed 95% of my island home Dominica. Years later I created 'to go' bags with survival tools in them. The SEVENTY2 survival system replaced these two bags with a lighter, more organized, durable model. I am prepared.
02 Time and trouble saved
Our Zeus line of jump starters and inflators does one thing better than anything else. It gets you moving again without waiting for help.
- More than 42,000 jump starters now in the field.
- The average wait for roadside assistance runs 30 to 60 minutes. A Zeus does the job in about five.
- Estimated collective time our customers have not spent stranded: more than 28,000 hours, over 1,150 days.
Jump started my cousin's truck, which took about a minute, and inflated all four of his tires on a single charge. Couldn't be more impressed.
03 Giving back
Preparedness should not stop at our customers.
- Through Good360, Uncharted kits are reaching disaster survivors and community organizations, from families in Venezuela to preparedness kits donated in our most recent cycle.
- In total we have placed thousands of units into donated and seeded hands, doing frontline work in places we never marketed to.
At NFT Rescue Foundation, the Zeus Pro has become a crucial part of our outreach to the houseless community. Too often we find people stranded with dead batteries. With the Zeus Pro we can jump start their cars and charge the phones they rely on for job searches and emergency contacts, immediate, tangible assistance to those in need.
04 The road ahead
We are just getting started. Our goal for the next chapter is simple: more people prepared, more families safe, and more bad days that turn out fine because someone had the right gear in the trunk.
